The short answer
No. Playdom and Disney never made a Wild Ones 2 or an official remake, and nothing has been announced. Fans have tried to bring it back many times since 2013. The closest thing to a Wild Ones sequel you can play today is Wild Wars: free, with turn-based pet battles, coins and treats.
Why there is no official sequel
Wild Ones belonged to Playdom, which Disney bought in July 2010. Disney then pulled back from Facebook games: Wild Ones closed in August 2013, and the last Playdom games shut down in 2016. The name and artwork still belong to Disney, which is why every remake since has been unofficial and why none of them can promise to stay online.
Every fan attempt at a Wild Ones 2
- Wild Ones Remake. A Flash-based fan remake on Facebook. It stopped working for good when Flash reached end of life in December 2020.
- Wild Ones: Private Wars. A fan server that ran from October 2016 to February 2017, then shut down and released its code.
- Wild Ones Heroes. A short-lived fan project that lasted about a month.
- Wild Ones Ultimate ("Wild Ones 2"). Announced with a trailer that drew tens of thousands of views. Its website is now a parked domain.
- Wild Ones Battle Stadium. An unofficial remake on Steam, Android and iPhone. Still running, with mixed reviews.
- Wild Ones Evolution. An unofficial remake listed on Steam as "coming soon".
Most of these projects copied Wild Ones closely, used its name without permission and disappeared within months. That pattern is why many fans have moved on to new games that capture the same feeling with their own pets and worlds.
The closest thing to Wild Ones 2: Wild Wars
Wild Wars is a new turn-based pet battle game built by developers who grew up on Wild Ones. Instead of cloning the old game, it rebuilds what made it fun: pick a pet with its own abilities, load up a weapon kit that runs from grenades to nukes, and take turns blowing up your rivals and the ground under them. It even keeps coins and treats.

The closest thing to logging back into Wild Ones: cartoon pets, turn-based shots, coins and treats.
Wild Wars is a free-to-play, turn-based pet battle game built by developers who grew up playing Wild Ones. When Playdom switched Wild Ones off in 2013, nothing quite replaced it. Wild Wars was made to fill that gap, and of every game on this list it is the one that feels most like the original.

Frequently asked questions
Will there ever be an official Wild Ones 2?
There is no sign of one. Disney, which owns Wild Ones through Playdom, closed the last Playdom games in 2016 and has not announced any plans for the series as of October 2026.
Is Wild Wars the new Wild Ones?
Wild Wars is a new, original game, not an official sequel, and it is not affiliated with Playdom or Disney. It is the closest thing to a Wild Ones 2 you can play: turn-based pet battles, a huge arsenal, destructible maps, coins and treats. It is free on iPhone, Android and Windows PC.
Is there a Wild Ones remake for PC?
Yes, unofficially. Wild Ones Battle Stadium is a free fan remake on Steam, and Wild Ones Evolution is listed as coming soon. Wild Wars is a free alternative on PC that is inspired by Wild Ones rather than copying it.
Is there a Wild Ones game for mobile?
Not an official one. Wild Wars is free on iPhone and Android, and the unofficial Wild Ones Battle Stadium is on both too.
